What is right to manage?
Right to Manage (RTM) entitles you, as a leaseholder (who qualifies under a set of specific guidelines) to set up a Right to Manage Company (RTMco) to take over the management of your development.
Once you have set up the RTMco you have the opportunity to arrange for a different managing agent to take over the daily running and maintenance of your development, if you wish.
Groups of residents living in leasehold accommodation will usually have the legal right to manage their own affairs or to select a management company of their choice to take care of matters such as insurance, service charges, upkeep and repairs
